About ShopClerk

ShopClerk was founded in 2017 to help independent ecommerce companies like you grow and be successful. Small businesses are the heart and soul of the US, and we want to support that as ecommerce becomes the main way people shop. We offer a comprehensive package tracking solution for Shopify stores a way to see all of their shipments, which you can’t do in Shopify by itself.

You can now catch any problems and solve them, before your customer even knows about it.

ShopClerk is located in Kendall Square in Cambridge, MA, USA, one of the world’s hotbeds of innovation. It’s owned by partners Kevin Bedell and Todd Chapin, who originally met at Zipcar and later reunited years later, after both had subsequently worked at Amazon.

Todd Chapin

Todd is the Chief Product Officer at ShopClerk and loves helping people by make useful products and services better and easier to use. He oversees Product Management, Voice UX, Customer Service, and Marketing.

He’s spent the majority of his career dedicated to helping companies provide better customer service, gaining experiences in areas such as speech recognition, car sharing, and enterprise call centers.

His time at Zipcar, Amazon, and Nuance cemented his drive to create high quality products and services that solve real problems. While helping small and medium ecommerce companies be successful is his primary job, Todd also enjoys running, hiking, and international travel.

Before co-founding ShopClerk, Todd gained experience in personal mobility and service design as the Director of Product Management and Member Experience at Zipcar. He also helped build Audible’s Alexa functionality during his time at Amazon.

Todd’s been in the Boston area for over 20 years, having graduated from Tufts University with degrees in Human Factors Engineering.

Kevin Bedell

Kevin Bedell is a software developer and entrepreneur passionate about helping e-commerce businesses survive, grow, and thrive in the highly competitive world of online selling. As a former senior manager at Amazon.com he understands the challenges faced in building lasting customer relationships in today's online marketplace. As CEO of ShopClerk.ai he leads technology and strategy for the company.

Prior to founding ShopClerk.ai in 2017, Kevin worked at Amazon.com where he led a highly talented team of engineers in Amazon's Alexa business unit. Before that he held senior technology and leadership roles at Zipcar and Fidelity Investments, as well as a number of early-stage startup companies. He understands the challenge of creating new ventures from the ground up.

Kevin has a degree in Engineering from Michigan Tech and an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.
